Esther Hsu is channeling my love of unicorns with her equestrian ensemble! I caught her the other day for coffee and some photos in between classes and this Fashionista was so fun to photograph due to her playful style.
This Fashionista’s outfit is like My Little Pony, but for us big kids! After seeing her unicorn necklace, I’m been searching the internet high and low for one for myself! When I asked Esther where she got it, she mentioned that she got it in Taiwan. Although I was a bit saddened at the thought that I may not be getting the exact necklace as her anytime soon (unless I blow all my savings on a round trip to Taiwan for a shopping spree), I’ve decided to ask my good ol’ friend the internet for a similar piece of jewelry. Over at Overstock.com, I was able to find a beautiful unicorn necklace of a similar style—hopefully I can snatch myself up one with my upcoming paycheck!
Along with the necklace, Esther rocked her floral pony shirt—another item she bought from Taiwan! An American alternative to her shirt can be found at Forever 21, and frankly I might by myself this shirt. The pastel colors found in the top from Forever 21 are reminiscent of the colorful floral wreath found on the original top’s graphic.
My favorite part of this outfit has to be the purse—and the best part of it is that it’s available via Dolls Kill! Dolls Kill is a personal favorite online boutique of mine and this clutch not only of a unicorn, but it is a hologram The Last Unicorn clutch. Needless to say, I also have this particular item on my wish list!
How To: Keeping an outfit revolving around unicorns, fairies or any other magical entities should carry a soft and whimsical feel to it. Solid pastel colored denim shorts and pants or lace shorts would be a perfect bottom to wear when you’re channeling such a playful look. Shoes of a solid neutral color will make this outfit complete literally from head to toe!
