ALL IN THE DETAILS: Dress in a Million Ways

Sometimes I find myself staring at a dress that I had recently wore to a formal or a fancy dinner, and I wish that I could wear it again without other people noticing the repeat. Dresses are so fun, so easy and so versatile—dress them up or dress them down. There are many different ways they can be worn, and we girls have so many of them. Although it is not the end of the world if you wear a dress twice, if you are really concerned, be creative and switch up the look a little!

This Fashionista wore the exact same dress to an awards ceremony last week and decided that she loved this dress too much to see it just sit in her wardrobe. A simple scarf and a patterned large purse gave this formal dress a casual weekend look. Instead of red stiletto heels, she paired this dress with jeweled sandals for comfort. The large handbag allowed her to put away her camera, her wallet, her scarf and everything she potentially could buy at the mall in a safe place. The scarf is cream-colored with brown-stenciled prints; it doesn’t take attention away from the bright dress but still gives her outfit a different feel. Her elegant red dress just turned fun and breezy.

Only have one dress? Not a problem, get 10 or more looks with it. Dig out some old scarves and throw them on!

How To: Have a bunch of dresses and scarves just sitting around? Mix and match.
