ALL IN THE DETAILS: Dreamcatching Away!

Spring is slowly but surely making it’s way up to Syracuse. The sun is out again, birds are chirping and the grass is showing. So finally, everyone (including myself) is feeling motivated to dress up to class. This weather is still cold for me but you’ll find some students wearing skirts or shorts. Heck, I wore a pair of flats the other day because it wasn’t freezing. The spring season calls for lots of boho trends like florals, maxi skirts and dreamcatchers! I spotted this Fashionista sporting one along with a sunflower print backpack, so I had to stop her. It was singing spring to me!

It’s still too cold for maxi skirts but a pair of washed out jeans can also add a bohemian vibe to your outfit. This Fashionista paired hers with a simple knit navy blue sweater with detailed linear stitches that gives her a preppy, smart girl look. To cover her neck from the wind chills, she wore a pashmina scarf with cool gold accents. This color partners up quite nicely with her military green parka, which has dark beige fur on the edges of the hoodie for warmth. I think brown and washed out jeans always make a good combination. That’s why her brown leather booties stood out for me along with the navy blue fur at the top, which complements the sweater. Now, the real deals of this outfit are the little details that show spring is on its way: the sunflower print backpack, golden leaf earrings and the dreamcatcher necklace. Try these accessories for a bohemian-inspired look.
