I spotted this Fashionista, walking through the Manhattan College campus in her detailed, fall fitting outfit. What caught my eye were the layers, the detailed bottoms of her jeans and the color of the bag she was carrying. To be honest, the whole outfit made me so excited for November coming up.
Details, details, details—let’s start with her jeans! The bottom of her jeans are tied up, which I thought was such a cool detail to add to jeans and to her outfit. These bottoms add a more edgy and creative vibe to her chic, fall outfit. Ally grabbed these right before they were all gone, so an alternative to these jeans can be a detailed lace-up on the top of your jeans that add the same edgy and creative vibe! Now, let’s talk about that collar! Her collar sneaks out of her gray sweater which adds a pattern to her outfit and makes the sweater stand out even more. Ally thrifted this navy plaid flannel, but you can wear a plaid flannel like this color or even a black flannel. What makes the sweater stand out as well is the leather pockets—how awesome! There is also a mix of textures between her sweater and her camel colored coat, which is fashion necessary for the fall.
Her outfit screams details, casual, comfortable chic and fall ready. She inspired me to use more and different textures with my fall outfits and to use details that make the outfit pop while showing creativity.
