We’re bringing back the ’90s. Everywhere you turn there’s either an oversize jacket, chokers galore, or Adidas. Millennials have reinvented their parents clothing and made it their own. Fashion is going backwards bringing back the best of the nostalgic time. Walking around campus you can see an abundance of styles but only a few caught my eye. This outfit was one of them, and it’s not the outfit as a whole that drew me in, but the tiny details that got me.
This Fashionisto’s bomber jacket is art. I’ve seen all the bomber jackets possible at State College–the sheer, the black, and the army. But what bomber jacket makes you want to drink a cup of coffee while you stare in awe at the details like a piece of artwork at the Metropolitan? This one. The Japanese-esque design is fresh and cool to say the least. A refreshing addition to a beloved design.
Now his glasses are one of my favorite details. It brings me back to F. Scott. Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby when adding a little extra was highly encouraged. These particular trendy gold frames don’t even need a prescription. They are the perfect statement piece. Mock glasses are currently in style with an abundance of round frames and aviator styles.
When it comes to this Fashionista’s shoes I must say they really lock this look together. Adidas are timeless and go with virtually anything. This look blends together perfectly. It’s casual urban vibe is a ray of light amidst these gloomy winter days.
