ALL IN THE DETAILS: Boho Blondie

When you think boho, you normally think of loose, patterned dresses, rompers and shorts and probably also Coachella. It can sometimes be a hard look to translate to the streets, especially when you live in a very urban setting. I spotted this Fashionista and thought she did it effortlessly.

The thing that caught my eye with this outfit was the use of a brown, crocheted belt. While boho clothing is awesome because of its looseness and comfortability, it can sometimes be unflattering as well. The use of this belt really helped to cinch in at her waist and show some definition while still keeping up with a boho theme.

I also thought the shoes were great. Coachella goers always talk about how important boots and sneakers are because of the amount of walking and dust that you encounter. I can see this Fashionista’s shoes working well there and I also think they are a good transition piece between summer and fall.

How To: While looking for pieces to recreate this Fashionista’s look, I decided to switch it up and make it more “fall-friendly” as we are already in September and I also chose pieces from Forever 21 to keep it affordable since these are all trendy pieces! I think that this dress is a good way to recreate this look because it is similar in silhouette and has cut-outs on the sleeves like her dress. I chose this belt since it gives off the same kind of boho vibe as the belt she chose. Lastly, I chose these shoes as they are flat brown booties with an interesting detail to them!
