ALL IN THE DETAILS: Blush Crush

During this dull and icy winter, I have been loving the color blush and the way it subtly brightens up any look. I caught this Fashionista on her way to class in a fashionable yet practical outfit. I’ll be the first to say that there is nothing that beats a comfortable yet stylish look!

I am obsessed with the warm shade of muted pink that this Fashionista is wearing. Blush is one of the best fall/winter 2016-2017 trends and my wardrobe consists of more pieces in this color than I’d care to admit!

This past fall season, many fashion designers have been enamored with the color blush as well. Among them are Costume National and Paul Smith who incorporated the lovely color into outwear. Etro used the shade on a velvet bomber jacket and also mixed it with prints.

It is no surprise that I was very into this Fashionista’s outfit: her blush mockneck jumper dominates the look, but is tied together well with other elements such as her classic Stan Smiths, ripped jeans, and a minimal bracelet. Her look was inspired by outfits she saw in Europe where many girls wore jeans with sneakers. Her tousled curls and glowy makeup add the perfect finishing touch.

This specific outfit is perfect if you’re going to class or just heading to grab coffee on campus with some friends. Blush is a great color for early winter, and it is neutral enough to combine with prints and bold accessories if you want to amp up an outfit even more.

In this case though, less is definitely more.
