ALL IN THE DETAILS: All in the Accessories

Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror after picking out an outfit and felt somewhat basic? We all have. Sometimes we want to be comfy and just throw on a tank top and a pair of jeans. There is nothing wrong with that, in fact, there are hundreds of ways to dress up a casual outfit.

This Fashionista is wearing a white tank top and a pair of light wash blue jeans. Very fluky and appropriate for the summer time. Her tank top has a floral lace pattern toward the bottom, creating a girly and elegant look. She got creative and dressed this outfit up a number of ways. Chokers have been a huge hit this summer; therefore she paired two adorable chokers together to create a dauntless look. Her black bandeau and black choker pull the outfit together. Although she is wearing just a plain white tank top, she still attracts attention with her bold accessories.

Since this outfit lacks color, this Fashionista made sure to have plenty of beautiful arm candy. Nothing fancy, just pale pink beaded bracelets paired with a charming tennis bracelet. Adding a few rings really dresses this relaxed outfit up. Everyone is different, therefore everyone can dress this outfit up however they please. This Fashionista also added a pale pink kate spade new york bag to match her bracelets. Are you not a sandals/flats kind of girl? Rock this outfit with a pair of cute wedges–super acceptable during the summer.

How To: Have you always hesitated to add bold accessories to your outfits? My advice is to start with the little things! If you don’t feel comfortable wearing a choker (I know a lot of people feel this way), look for a dainty necklace, very simple and cute. If you don’t like the look or feel of numerous bracelets on your wrist, find one bold bracelet or maybe a watch instead. There are so many other accessories that can substitute this Fashionista’s look. Even if you are not an accessory girl but want to dress up your outfit, start with the little things and never be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. That is where the best creativity happens!
