WHAT TO WEAR: Rainy Days

What to Wear

Those rainy days really get ya down, don’t they? Well, don’t let them! You can make any rainy day a little less gray by adding some color and fun into your fashion! Umbrellas, boots, hats and coats—your survival kit to deep puddles and downpour—but being a Fashionista, you must mix it up a little here and there!

The Hunter Boot socks make a perfect addition to any boot on a rainy, cold day. Not only do they keep your toes warm, but they also add a pop of color and style to your look. My favorite is the Leopard Cuff Welly Sock, which would look fab with a pair of sleek black Hunter rain boots!

This Fashionista is sporting those very Hunter boots with a twist on her top half! The fleece vest has been a popular trend on campus these past few months and it’s often seen on these rainy days over long-sleeves and under scarves. Leggings are my go-to on glum days, as also seen on this Fashionista. They’re easy, comfortable and fast to dry after the long trek from your dorm to class. I highly recommend lululemon’s black wunder under pants before diving headfirst into the puddles of precipitation. They’re stretchy, durable and perfect for any weather-trying situation.

This Fashionista enhances her preppy Vineyard Vines rain suit and pairs it with pearls, a perfect addition to wipe away your rainy day blues and bring in some sparkle!

One Simple Change: While I love the sophisticated, rainy day look this Fashionista was going for, I’m such a sucker for scarves. A bright scarf added to rainy day attire could change the potential of the outfit from boring to bam! Plus, they’ll give you a little extra warmth on the chilly day!
