With two weeks left of class and finals time rapidly approaching, I can guarantee you the last thing on a Fashionista or Fashionisto’s mind is, “What should I wear to class today?” But that doesn’t mean to just roll out of bed and pull sweats on over your pajama bottoms (we’ve all done it). I know, I know — with all the studying you aren't looking forward to doing, why give yourself another challenge of picking out an outfit? Well, I am here to tell you today that simplicity is the best route to go in many occasions, especially during this chilly time of year.
Simple fall fashions have made a loud yet meek entrance onto the fashion scene. There are so many ways to dress simple up or down by just adding an accessory or a touch of confidence. According to Esquire Magazine, “Simple is about understated clothes worn with confidence.” I could not agree with them enough! The simplest outfits get the most compliments; if you don’t believe me, try it out for yourself! For women, add a colorful hair accessory or for men, try going for the a patterned scarf like this week's Fashionisto did!
This week’s Fashionisto is all about the simplistic styling for the fall. He wears a pair of dark-washed jeans cuffed at the ankle just where his Ralph Lauren high-top polo boots meet. With a beige-colored, high-collar utility jacket placed on top of a white button-down all pulled together by a multi-colored plaid scarf, this Fashionisto is definitely the master of simplicity.
To imitate his look and make it your own, try adding a light jacket over a simple white V-neck or maybe a hat to add flavor to an outfit. Remember when it comes to simplicity, confidence is key.
