STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: You Can Never Be Too Graphic

Style Advice of the Week

Let's talk graphic for a second. No not that kind of graphic—I am talking about graphic T-shirts. They are typically associated with more laid back outfits such as jeans and a pair of Converse. However, there are many ways to take your typical graphic T-shirt into a casually cool ensemble. This Fashionisto brought out his vintage Rolling Stones shirt and made it winter appropriate with a matching beanie and scarf and tall combat boots.

Graphic T-shirts are a great way to show off your personality and creativity. For you Fashionistos out there, take your favorite band T-shirt and layer it with a denim shirt and cardigan sweater. The additional layers will keep you warm and will also add some depth to what would just be an ordinary outfit. Fashionistas also have a wide range of options for displaying a burst of personality. Take this playful shirt from Revolve Clothing, which would look perfect with red pants and a pair of black boots for a night out with some friends. To play with contrasting elements, take this skull tank from NASTYGAL and pair it with a maxi skirt or short floral skirt for an edgy yet feminine look. Another one of my favorite looks is a band T-shirt, such as this one from Urban Outfitters, and wear it underneath a fitted black blazer, skinny jeans and black stilettos. You will look effortless yet perfectly put together, which is pretty much the best combination.

Don’t have a graphic T-shirt? Just borrow you boyfriend or your brother’s shirt. No one will ever know the difference after your awesome styling choices.
