ACCESSORIES REPORT: The Best Way to Spread Holiday Cheer…

Accessories Report

I love everything about the holiday season: the music, the food, the decorations and especially the fashion. There are so many options of styles to wear during the holidays, such as a festive red dress, the pugly (pretty-ugly) Christmas sweater or a cozy flannel with leggings. This week’s Fashionista takes a unique approach to dressing for the holiday season by looking super chic in her grayscale ensemble.

It is tempting to want to wear all the red, green, gold and silver in your wardrobe this time of year, but this Fashionista demonstrates that incorporating black and grays into your ensemble is festive in the name of fashion! On top, she wears an oversized sweater in a dark gray with flecks of a lighter grey knitted throughout. The few bold stripes break up the sweater to keep it from overwhelming her petite frame. She also wears a simple thin black scarf to further create long lines and balance the bagginess of her sweater.

On bottom, this Fashionista wears fleece lined leggings, which she actually found for a steal at Target. She wears amazing dark gray knee-high boots from MIA, which just might be the chicest part of her ensemble. I have to admit I asked if I could touch them because the leather looked especially soft (embarrassing, I know). I usually am not a fan of gray boots but I fell in love with these for their versatility and high-fashion look. This Fashionista proves that you can be in the holiday spirit and dress like a trend setter, so Fashionistas, rock your grayscale outfits this season with confidence!
