We’re almost done with Finals Week here at UF, and its departure leaves us with temperatures climbing almost as high as students’ stress levels. But this Fashionista remains in a December-holiday mindset with her warm clothes composed from a neutral palette spiced up with a red festive belt.
The look marries prep with nautical. A striped sailor-style shirt pushed up to three-quarters length with a puffed sleeve keeps the reinterpreted T-shirt from being predictable. The T-shirt’s scoop-neck look draws the eye down to the Fashionista’s two gold necklaces.
Simple but classic black skinny jeans are a great pairing with the T-shirt. The cropped style spotlights the Fashionista’s choice of footwear. Vintage oxfords speak to the prep style, and the warm brown tone coordinates with the outfit’s overall neutral palette.
This Fashionista keeps the tried-and-true ensemble from becoming bland with edgy blue nails and a white chunky watch. Her fantastic shades are truly a nod to the classic look this Fashionista has portrayed.
Spotted: Oxfords were the height of the spring 2013 runways. Platform versions of the look sotmped down the Carven runway, taking the casual shoe from frump to fierce.
