This week’s Fashionista embodies the classic idea of less is more. It was her simple silhouette that caught my attention as she walked across campus having just rolled out of bed! Part of her ensemble’s appeal is the ease; she was able to throw this versatile outfit on in ten minutes and run to class looking put together and natural.
Before we get to her accessories, let’s review this Fashionista’s basics. She wears a simple jean blouse from Urban Outfitters that meets her slim black leggings, easy to throw on in a pinch. Onto the accessories: her khaki colored anorak jacket falls just below the hip, and creates a clean line from head to toe. This Jeans by Buffalo jacket is detailed with a fur trim around the hood and toggles along the front zipper. Having a coat like this one is perfect for any Fashionista to throw on at any time and look instantly accessorized.
This Fashionista’s next two accessories are essential to have in your wardrobe for their timeless appeal. Her deep brown leather bag is great for any outfit year round. The zipper details add a little flare without taking away from the classic feel of the bag. Her matching leather combat boots can be worn with leggings, jeans or a skirt and be dressed up or down. She gives them a casual feel by having her gray knit socks peek out over the top. Remember that having a versatile and classic coat, bag and boot is sometimes all you need to be a Fashionista on your campus!
