Accessories Report

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: you can wear white in the winter. It’s all right. There are many ways to wear white during this snowy season. I’ve seen tons of Fashionistas wearing white corduroy pants with blanket like sweaters and dark boots. I even got my own pair of off-white jeans recently. Another way to incorporate this shade is by wearing accessories in the snow matching color. White, or cream, accessories go with many different colors. It’s a neutral color of course so you can pair it with just as many things as you would black.

The Fashionista I spotted today wore her off-white accessories with a light colored sweater. I love how her scarf, earrings and headband all stay in the same color palate while her shoes and bag take on a different color code. The white lace headband and flower shaped pearl earrings give off a dainty girly look that is contrasted by her brown lace up boots. I love a good contrast and this Fashionista’s combo is right up my alley. Her Louis Vuitton bag keeps it classy and ties into the girlish accessories, but the dark color keeps her boots in the game.

White accessories in the winter allow an outfit to be bright without being colorful. My closet usually shifts into a black and gray phase during these cold months and having the option to wear white definitely brightens my outfits up. You can tell that this week’s Fashionista’s outfit is clearly brightened up by not only her scarf, but the lace headband as well.
