Not only is it cold in the city of Chicago, but it’s also very windy! The winters here can be very harsh, but that’s something we already know, right? That’s the price of living here. However, you must be ready for this type of weather. So break out your jackets, coats and most importantly, your wonderful windbreakers!
The thing I love the most about windbreakers is that they are a great staple piece to have. If you haven’t noticed by now, no windbreaker is the same. They come in all different colors and patterns. The best ones are the vintage ones you find in your grandparent’s closet or in the thrift stores. This Fashionista is rockin’ a black one with emerald and purple diagonal lines on one side of the jacket, while the other side has various pink and yellow patches in different shapes. It’s also important to layer up underneath your jacket because these are indeed made from a lighter fabric and may not keep you warm as you want it to be. This windbreaker is designed to resist light rain, chill and of course, the wind. Just make sure yours is just as fashionable. She also has on a light black scarf to block these Chicago winds from her upper body. Her leather black riding boots are perfect and protective. This weather is so unpredictable, so you have to be prepared for the rain or maybe even the snow! Her silver rings are very simplistic and cute, but they work with her black painted nails.
Spotted: rag & bone has some really cool scarves that will work so well with this Fashionista’s overall look.
