Happy Friday Fashionistas! We finally hit the 60s in the past week! It is amazing to see how much the warm weather can affect people’s attitudes and show through their outfit choices. It seems like everyone is starting to don bare legs, wear shoes that aren’t boots and even take an extra ten minutes to get ready in the morning.
I love how this Fashionista decided to take advantage of the sunny day. Her outfit is multifaceted, but all of the pieces still go together and help to create a cohesive look. Her black and white studded oxfords and plaid shorts complement each other in a grungy-chic way. Her white eyelet top adds a touch a femininity that keeps them from being too harsh together. Her black blazer and nude tote bag also help to tone down her look in a positive way.
Of all her accessories, I like her studded oxford flats the most. I’ve always thought that oxfords are a good staple shoe and this Fashionista’s are an interesting take on them. For some more untraditional oxfords, try ones with a bow or oxford wedge pumps. These Steve Madden lace oxfords are also a fun option for spring!
In addition, this Fashionista’s tote bag helps to tie her outfit together. I think every girl needs a neutral purse that she can grab last minute and that will go with whatever she is wearing. A black bag like this one is always a good choice. Longchamp also makes tote bags that come in a variety of solid colors. I personally love the beige and the navy.
