For Fashionistas this time of year can get a bit tricky because we are in the summer season but already being exposed to so many tempting fall looks. The weather also seems quite confused because it can be hot one day, rainy the next and a tad chilly at night.
When I was on my Fashionista hunt the weather was humid and a potential frizzy hair day. I was not looking forward to the heat at all until I spotted a Fashionista who had the perfect hot day look. She kept it simple and chic, but also looked prepared to layer on a sweater or raincoat if nessecary.
Her flats add a pop of color and personality to the ensemble and are perfect for any season and weather element. The color is my favorite because yellow instantly makes me happier. I absolutely love how she has hints of yellow throughout her outfit to reinforce the vibrant color.
This Fashionista continued to polish off the look with a simple solid black tank top, a pair of floral patterned shorts and a brown leather clutch. She kept it simple with the top and clutch the outfit wouldn’t get too chaotic with color. The main focus was on the flats and the shorts helped complement that. She also dressed it up with a cute statement necklace and even had an arm party going on with a variety of bracelets to keep it fun and colorful.
Spotted: Fast forwarding to the spring 2014 ready-to-wear L.A.M.B collection, it is a key example of how a pop of color can complete an ensemble.
