After Thanksgiving there’s so many more joyful holidays to look forward to. Whatever holiday you celebrate, this Fashionista’s outfit is the ultimate wish list look. I know there are plenty of items that I have my eyes on.
The black, high-waisted wax pants are amazing. They have great shine and add a different texture to any winter look. You can pair pants like these with a wool coat, fur coat, letterman jacket like this Fashionista or any sweater and it is effortlessly stylish. There are all different ranges of shine to the leather or waxed pant—here’s a cute pair from Shopbop.
The shoes on this Fashionista are such a statement. First of all, the bright white is a fun change from the typical brown or black boot we often see during this season. I also like the sporty feel from the laces combined with the platform for some added height. The platform keeps them comfortable still, making the pair an easy choice for an everyday shoe. Here is a similar pair from NASTY GAL.
Going off the sporty vibe, this oversized vintage letterman jacket is such a fun alternative to your winter coat. Not only does the cut provide ample room for layers underneath, the wool is warm, and it is not your average (boring) winter outwear. Going for something different gives you a chance to showcase your personal style and taste while also keeping warm. For a vintage letterman check out LF Stores if there is one around you, but if not, Forever 21 has some to choose from as well, including this one.
To top off the whole look, this Fashionista sports a leopard hair clutch. I loved the hair texture to a bag, and it gives the look a pop. Whether you’re walking around town with friends, getting a bite to eat or going out at night a clutch is always a good accessory to have. I love the choice of animal print with this outfit. Metallic clutches are on my wish list this year, along with one like this.
Spotted: A similar style of leather waxed pants in Nicole Miller’s fall 2013 collection. I love that shine for the cold months!
