I couldn’t be more excited to show off this Fashionista and her exciting wardrobe and accessories! I saw the gorgeous sun hat that she was sporting and brought out my inner Style Guru, making it my mission to capture her photo. When I approached her and got her attention, I was able to get a better look and see her personal style up close. I realized that this hat really was the perfect accessory to top off her ensemble.
Hats have started to pop up in just about everyone’s wardrobes. Whether you’re wearing a hat to actually block out the summer sun or just to put that cherry on top of the perfect outfit, it really is the perfect accessory.
I’ve never been much of a hat person myself. I’ve worn snap-backs backwards when hanging out with friends or a fedora here and there but I never really considered a sun hat. I’ve spotted so many Fashionistas wearing sun hats at the beach and admired their style but never thought about buying my own. This particular Fashionista made me want to go out and buy one right then and there!
When shopping for other types of hats, I shop at places such as PacSun and Forever 21 since they are super affordable and you can change it up, purchasing new hats as the styles evolve and change without breaking the bank. This Fashionista was actually traveling all around the U.S. and was fortunate enough to visit a small boutique in Sonoma County, California where she purchased this hat. While we sat and talked about this chic accessory, she mentioned to me that she “wore it because she couldn’t fit it in her suitcase.” Well, I think that even if it could fit, she should rock it everyday!
Spotted: Even though we adore this look, trying something similar to this style for the fall is easy too! Instead of the straw material, look for something a little more like the hats featured on the Giulietta fall 2013 runway to stay in style and of course, stay warm when the temperature begins to drop.
