ACCESSORIES REPORT: Time to Dream

Accessories Report

Time is a funny thing. It controls our lives in almost every aspect. It wakes us up, tells us when to go to work, set up appointments, turn in assignments, go to sleep and so on. Although we plan our lives around a clock, things don’t always happen how or when we think they should. Sometimes chasing a dream seems difficult because the timing is off or a door gets shut and we feel like the dream won’t really happen. When those doubts start coming I think its important to not focus on the closed doors but keep moving forward with the time. And what better way to do that then pairing your stylish ensemble with a wearable watch?

Since I personally dream of traveling, the stand out accessory I noticed this Fashionista wearing was her watch with a map of the world. The watch comes with a durable brown leather band which pairs perfectly with her brown leather cross-body bag. Since the weather is getting colder, I thought it was great how she keeps warms while staying in style. She paired a maroon hat and a similar colored scarf to match her shirt and complement the other colors in her outfit. I also loved that she kept her jewelry simple because you can never go wrong with simple studs. She finishes up her look with some canvas sneakers which will keep her feet warm as she wanders off to chase her dreams.

If you dream of traveling too, you can find a map watch at Urban Outfitters. Or if you prefer a different style of watch, such as a chain link watch, you can try Express. I found one there that comes in beautiful rose gold color which would provide a feminine touch to any ensemble. This Fashionista wears her leather watch with a more casual look for class, but watches can easily be worn on a night out also. You can wear it on a girl’s night with a structured blazer, boyfriend-cut jeans and heels. Or for a date night pair your favorite watch with a cable knit sweater, a mini skirt, tights and a pair of boots. Pairing a watch with either of these looks will keep you trendy and on time for your event.

Too add on some warm accessories to your wardrobe, try Charlotte Russe for a earth toned scarf and knitted hat. There are a lot of styles and patterns of scarves there and they are perfect for a college budget. To walk to class confidently you can find a pair canvas sneakers like this Fashionista wears also at Urban Outfitters. Of corse every Fashionista can use a pair of classic dome studs because they literally go with anything you wear. There is a really affordable pair at Forever 21 and that come in silver or rose gold. Cross-body bags are the most common style of bags I’ve been noticing on campus. My current favorite I’ve seen is a structured cross-body at Francesca’s. It has an elegant look to it and comes in nude and black.

Never give up on your dreams, Fashionistas, because the time it takes to reach our goals will pass anyway. My advice to you is while you’re making things happen, keep track of time passing with a stylish watch and add some other fabulous accessories this fall.
