ACCESSORIES REPORT: These Boots Are Made For Riding

Accessories Report

Johnson & Wales is well respected for its equestrian program. I always see students in their riding uniform including riding boots. Not only do I see equestrian students sporting these boots but other Fashionistas as well. This is another example of a fashion that is common for one purpose but has now made its way to mainstream style.

This Fashionista is wearing a pair of Franco Sarto riding boots. She paired these boots with a classic all-black outfit and statement necklace. No Fashionista can go wrong in all black!

Riding boots are a great staple for the fall/winter season. They can be worn with a wide variety of outfits from a dress to a pair of jeans. These are most seen with a pant that is tucked in to the boot, usually a pair of skinny jeans or jeggings.

Also riding boots can be found in a wide variety of colors, embellishments and lengths. Most riding boots are found in neutral colors and have various buckles, studs and/or zippers as embellishments. This Fashionista’s boots have a crest embossed onto the upper part of the boot. With the vast amount of options available there is definitely a pair of riding boots to work for you.

You can find a pair at any retailer that sells boots. This Fashionista got her pair from Macy’s which is a great place to find a pair. Also for an inexpensive pair for all of us on a budget, you can find them at Charlotte Russe or Forever 21.

Whether you decide to invest in a pair of high quality leather boots or stick to the budget friendly boots, take advantage of this trend it really will be a must-have for many more seasons to come.

Spotted: Riding boots were seen on the runway of Marni fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection.
