Fashion is universal. From the U.K. to the U.S., the peacoat is a must-have. I believe you can never go wrong with a simple, black peacoat. It is a timeless piece that will never go out of style. So for all you Fashionistas/os out there, I say it’s worth every penny.
This British Fashionista is wearing one of the best peacoats I have seen. The fit and the length are perfect on this Fashionista. Something so simple, yet it caught my eye instantaneously. The great thing about peacoats is that there are a variety of colors and cuts to match specifically to an individual’s liking. This Fashionista finished her outfit with a cream sweater, dark wash jeans and some killer leather ankle boots. I liked how this Fashionista kept the whole look simple and chic. Minimalist at it’s best. For those who aren’t minimalists, I say add a statement piece necklace or a chunky scarf to the outfit.
A tip for you tall Fashionistas: try rocking a longer length peacoat. This will extenuate your tall frame and give you more of a sleek look. For my petite Fashionistas, I would recommend a short length peacoat that is fitting. A knee-length peacoat will maker you look shorter than you appear. There are multiple color peacoats out there, but I say go for the black. You can unbutton or button the peacoat all the way to the top. There are different ways you can dress up or dress down a peacoat, like this Fashionista, who incorporated her peacoat for a casual look. For a night out, wear a dress or skirt, tights and some pumps with a peacoat to create a classic look. It’s up to you Fashionistas/os to make your own look. I hope to see all of you, around the world, strutting on campus with your peacoats.
