Spending my mid-semester break in Boston was not as blessing as it was supposed to be in terms of exploring the city and going on little shopping trips. However, being stuck in campus gave us the chance to meet new friends, friends with style. As fashion has a strong connection with the weather, having a cool day in the middle of a very cold week is a must to bring the colors we have been hiding for a while. This week’s Fashionista did not hesitate to do so. I met her on my way to class the other day and could not help but notice how young and energetic her look was. from her vibrate hair dye, her printed T-shirt, the classic Converse to all the rings and, most importantly the earrings, the very trendy DIY earrings.
In the fashion styling industry earrings have been out for quit time, but since the Dolce&Gabbana runway for fall 2012 that was all about the statement earrings, they are back in and on top of the accessories trends list. They are back in many shapes and styles, the teardrop is definitely my favorite and the most popular one, it comes in different materials, from plastic, Crystal to even diamond and in different sizes, the small ones that are more appreciated for a work day at the office and the large ones for parties and special events.
Earrings bring a feminine touch to every Fashionista’s look and grab all the attention to the face, so they are one of the very important accessory pieces that can bring your outfit up and make a statement; especially if you are wearing the J.Crew playful neon ones, or multiple crystal ones along with Bijoux Heart pearls earrings.
Spotted: Dolce&Gabbana fall 2013 collection kept on the continuous fantasy with gorgeous earrings.
