Well, the cat is out of the bag and the claws are really coming out! Not really, but having seen this Fashionista strolling in her feline-themed attire, the cat puns cannot be avoided, so I apawlogize in advance. Rather than simply go with the classic way to show your love of a certain animal by wearing the fur or print, those are reserved for the more wild of animals, where the domesticated variety get left out of the fashion world. This Fashionista, however, is not taking any chances of letting her love of cats go unnoticed.

Her cat face H&M flats make a statement all on their own, but with the addition of her chic parody T-shirt that reads, “Kittén,” the statement is definitely more profoundly made. This is an especially relevant outfit for those who may be separated due to location of school from their furry friends, but still want to show them some long distance love.

If you are in the mood for some statement flats like this Fashionista, Charlotte Olympia and Marc Jacobs have both made flats that are purrfect for the cat lover in us all. If these seem to be exceeding your budget allotted for cat themed footwear, ModCloth has a funky alternative that really are the cat’s pajamas!

Spotted: It seems that many designers had feline fever, as the runways for the spring 2014 campaigns were just littered with cats! Vivienne Westwood sent a graphic T-shirt of a kitten down her runway, while Miu Miu sent a very notable statement jacket with a cat face pattern down theirs.
