As the last weeks of summer approach now is the best time as ever to get your tan on—I mean that in both senses of the word. Of course use what is left of the warm weather and natural sunlight to get your skin bronze, but I also mean to wear your khaki pants and your tan attire to match your glow. White and cream complemented with gold jewelry and a leather tote are the perfect pair to finish out the summer season.
This Fashionista has a summer time tan with the matching apparel. Her Fossil leather cross-body bag
is the attention piece of this outfit. It is a much larger bag then I’ve seen in the past for a cross-body bag, but if you like large purses this one is for you. Leather is a classic shade to have in your closet. It’s great for summer and fall. This bag is perfect for “back to campus.”
Another leather piece this outfit has to offer is her subtle sandal
. Some sandals have so much going on that you have to wear them with more simple outfits, but these very basic leather sandals can be worn with many different outfit pairings.
Rose gold is the gold for me when it comes to this beautiful Fossil watch
. I love the leather and rose gold together. Rose gold screams elegance in my book. It is the “it” jewelry color for the spring and potentially the fall as well.
These completely simple tear drop earrings add a more classic feel to this outfit. I love how this Fashionista is not afraid to use different shades of jewelry in one look. She uses this iron color in her earrings and her bracelets and uses rose gold on her watch. Some Fashionistas wouldn’t stray that far from the sidewalk, but I guess being a Fashionista means taking even a small risk like using different colors of jewelry and making it a statement.
Warm sunny days, blue jean shorts and daiquiris by the pool will be gone before everyone knows it. Use all the time you have left of summer to tan your buns and up play the tan in your wardrobe.
Spotted: rag & bone resort 2014
offers one stunning take on the tan and white look. If you are going to a meeting or working at your internship’s office, that look would be perfect.
