The slush and rain make everyone pause in their color switch. It’s definitely better than wearing black until April.

This Fashionista’s dark gray leather bag pairs perfectly with her light gray knit sweater. It also contrasts well with her dark blue wash jeans. She has created the perfect palate for the winter-to-spring transition with the grays in her sweater, bag, boots and her white jacket. The gray bag, sweater and boots can be used with jeans throughout the spring, but also soft pastel colors.

Ruche’s Sault St. Marie has a soft worn-in leather texture and structured handles with stitching detailing and zippers. Topshop’s cross-body satchel has buckle detailing and a box shape that makes it the perfect bag for carrying books or a laptop to class. Banana Republic’s gray bag is also a cross-body and has both quilted stitching and silver hardware for a classical look at a reasonable price. For a gray accessory with a metallic texture, look no further than Accessorize‘s Soho satchel.

Spotted: Marc Jacobs‘ fall 2013 collection pairs various gray shades with browns and blacks for both accessories and clothing items. This Ready-to-Wear collection also experiments with various textures and materials in this color to make them look extremely different and add various accents to each outfit.
