With one of the coldest winters in a long time ending, I am fully confident that everyone is excited to trade the layers of clothes for shorts and T-shirts. Although New Orleans hasn’t been as cold as other parts of the country, it has been cold enough for us to not wear cute dresses and sandals. This Fashionista embraces this very look, with her flowy springtime dress, booties and simple jewelry.
I spotted this Fashionista on her way to class and she immediately caught my eye. Her effortless, yet sophisticated look completely shows off the springtime vibe. What I liked most about her outfit was her flowery, patterned dress. I think when you are wearing something simple, adding an interested pattern grabs people’s attention.
In addition to her comfy dress, this Fashionista carries a stylish bag to wear to class that goes perfectly with her bootie color. If you don’t have short booties, a dress like this would also look good with mid-calf or knee-high boots.
I loved how this Fashionista wore a denim jacket on top of the dress, adding a boho look. To make this dress great for nighttime or dinner with friends, add a little heel to the bootie or a leather jacket and you have a causal and comfy outfit for the night.
So, Fashionistas, if you’re loving the spring weather, dig up those casual dresses and pair them with a simple boot and you’ve got yourself the perfect outfit for class on a beautiful day!
