Fall semester has come to an end, Fashionistas/os. It’s been a long hard road, but we have made it to winter break! There’s no better feeling than going home to catch up with family and high school friends. This week, I returned to my hometown in Philadelphia, where I will be spending an eventful holiday season! As soon as I touched down, I could not help but notice the significant difference in the weather here compared to Hampton, Virginia. It is certainly getting pretty brisk, here on the East Coast!
I came across one Fashionisto who chose to stay warm in style. Possibly too cool to sport a bulky coat, he accessorizes with a skully hat. He pairs his hat with a black graphic T-shirt, denim shirt and vintage sneakers. Hats are always perfect for keeping warm while remaining fashionable. There is such a huge variety in the hat world, but the “skully” look is by far my favorite style. They are incredibly comfortable as they keep both your head and ears toasty.
Skully hats can take your winter time apparel to the next level. They keep your head warm, but also adds a “bad boy/bad girl” element to your ensemble. If you are looking to adopt this accessory, check out a few of your favorite retailers! They can be found almost anywhere!
Spotted: Fashionistas, this look is not solely for the boys! If you are interested in the “skully” knit hat look, check out this model from the Missoni 2011 pre-fall collection!
