Even when it is dreary outside, a little pop of accessories can cheer anyone up! With the first week of classes finished, this Fashionista is soaking up the last little bit of summer before the cool fall temperatures of Boone roll in.
This Fashionista is laying low with her clothes; she is wearing a plain black tank top and light blue jean shorts. She is letting the spotlight shine on her light blue infinity scarf, which has accents of peach and purple feathers. The statement scarf corresponds with her pale blue denim shorts. Her black tank top contrasts with her light scarf making the accessory stand out! The sideways cross necklace isn’t just another fashion trend for this Fashionista— it reminds her everyday of how important her faith is. She continues with simplicity by wearing Target braided sandals.
This is her go-to look for a day full of classes. She is stylish and comfortable, but never does she look like she rolled out of bed and went to class. Her main accessory, the scarf, is worn in all four seasons for style. However, in the colder months it is mostly used for warmth and we need that here at Appalachian State.
Wanna get this look, but don’t have a summer scarf? No worries! Just wear a chunky statement necklace, or even layer different necklaces. Even if you don’t have an infinity scarf you can tie a regular summer scarf at the ends to make one loop, like an infinity scarf. Then pair it with a simple tank, some jean shorts and your favorite sandals.
