For a lot of college students, biking is the most convenient way to get around. And, here in Nashville it’s a necessity. Students ride their bike everywhere, to work, class and even the grocery store. But Nashville’s weather makes it difficult to choose an outfit that’s biker chic.
This Fashionista, however, knows exactly how to dress. Her light layers and use of color blocking makes her outfit both stylish and practical. She color blocks with black and purple. From her black bandana to black Converse shoes, this Fashionista knows how to commit. High top Converse shoes are everywhere this season. And, many sneaker brands offer the high top style; Converse, P. F. Flyers and Vans all have classic designs that are good for any cyclist.
This Fashionista’s custom Purple Jansport Backpack is an integral part of her outfit. It adds a splash of color to her ensemble and it’s a must-have accessory for every cyclist. Other accessories included mismatched solid yellow and hollow purple silicon plugs. She even had a black septum barbell to go along with her black ensemble. To complete her look, she wore a pair of Club Master Tortoise Ray-Bans. These protected her eyes from the wind and sun while going down hills.
From class to bike racks, it’s important to accessorize for what the day holds ahead of you. Many on-campus and off-campus students take advantage of the thrill of biking in town. With increased bike lanes and driver awareness, biking has picked up speed in Nashville. As more bikes hit the road, the more you’ll be noticing the trends of cyclists: only bring necessities.
