ACCESSORIES REPORT: Rain Rain Go Away!

Accessories Report

This Fashionista dresses casual on this cold rainy day in Boone. With a chance of rain everyday, every Appalachian State student and Fashionista, needs to invest in this Fashionista’s shoe. She wears a sorority function T-shirt under a fur vest. The fur vest has excess material around the neck, which flops on to this Fashionista’s shoulders and has tan suede on the outside. Her light washed jeans are tucking into the main accessory. She wears rain boots, a very common shoe in Boone. This Fashionista’s rain boots are a pale yellow with a black plaid design.

Rain boots have been a necessity for their practical use from the beginning, but just recently did they become a trendy fashion statement. Rain boots can be found at any departments store, shoe store, Walmart/Target or small boutique. Whether its plaid or polka dots, cheetah print or zebra, or even a solid color, all you have to do is name it and somewhere probably has it. They can cost anywhere from $11 all the way up to $200. They are sturdy and can be used in weather like rain, snow, mud, sleet, etc. You have to really do some damage to destroy them. If you have to wear them multiple times in a week, why not have them in a pattern you love?

Spotted: Dsquared2’s spring 2012 takes common rain boots to a whole new level by adding heels to them and even puts them to use on a muddy runway.
