The beauty of hats is that there are tons of different styles you can choose from. One popular 2014 accessory is the beanie. Almost everyday I see multiple Fashionistas rocking a beanie around campus. This accessory is a great addition to any outfit for any occasion.
I love how beanies give off that chill, cool and collected vibe. They come in a variety of different colors, patterns and textures. Most beanies that I have seen are knitted with a soft rib finish, and that is why I loved this Fashionista’s beanie. It was bedazzled with jewels to make it more fashionable and unique—something I have never seen!
Beanies can be an added accessory to make a fashion statement and stay warm during the cold winter months. And here in Minnesota, it is winter almost throughout the whole school year. You can also wear a beanie if you are running late for something. If you wake up and don’t have time to shower throw on a beanie to cover up your unwashed, messy hair. It is the perfect cover up and no one will ever know!
I liked how this Fashionista wore her purple beanie with her black and white parka jacket. It added a nice color change while still matching and complementing her winter jacket. If you don’t own a beanie you should try out a simple black one because it will go with literally everything. Or if you are feeling risky, try a beanie that has a pattern or words on it to give you that edgy-chic look. Next time you want a hat accessory or have messy hair “put a beanie on it!”
