Athletic shoes are becoming a statement piece again. These are certainly not your grandma’s Keds we are talking about. With a plethora of colors and eccentric styles, sporty kicks are returning to the streets with a fresh face. We all love to dress up and look cute for class, but does this really mean wearing something you can’t comfortably function in? Never. When you’re on campus for long hours, fashion needs to meet function somewhere.
This is where a dope pair of high-top sneakers come in. Whether it’s a classic pair of Converse or a fresh pair of Nikes, a comfortable and versatile pair of shoes is essential now that the snow is gone. Maybe you hit the gym frequently or you want to be prepared to work out at all times. But, you don’t have to be a gym rat to feel like the coolest chick on the streets in your Nikes. You can make them work with just about anything, in my opinion.
I spotted this Fashionista layering neutrals. Personally, I have grown to love and appreciate neutral colors. Pairing all neutrals together is like the new and refreshing way to rock all-black. Speaking of neutrals, I could not get enough of her sporty sneakers. I’ve seen so many designs giving us endless options when it comes to some pretty funky and eclectic high-tops.
Whether you’re running around class before finals or out with your friends party hopping, sometimes it’s best to consider the well-being of your feet. Neutral or not, you can never go wrong with a new pair of shoes that aren’t going to hurt your feet! Correct me if I am wrong, but cute and comfortable shoes are always a yes, especially this upcoming season.
Spotted: The intricate and iridescent patterns that were spotted on the Chanel fall 2014 runway are a perfect example of the comfortable, yet crazy style shoe that’s making an epic comeback.
