Fall has made an impact on us all with its breathtaking landscape and new fresh trends that can be found in our wardrobes. Also since the weather isn’t unbearable yet we are able to layer up without resembling eskimos. But sadly, winter is making its way in with more frigid days and random flurries. For some it may be extremely difficult to let go of their fall favorites like leather jackets, vests and booties. Fashionistas/os everywhere will most likely be wearing these fall must-haves until the first snow fall.
This Fashionista is no different. She loves her leather moto jacket and combat boots but another one of her fall favorites are knee high socks. They have sure made their way from Catholic school uniforms to current must-haves. Knee high socks are a perfect way to continue wearing your favorite skirt or dress throughout these colder months. Also they add warmth when wearing leggings or skinny jeans. Knee highs come in all different colors and fabrics and are inexpensive as well. You can find knee high socks at Forever 21 and Buckle.
Another trend that resemble knee high socks are leg warmers. Leg warmers are essentially the same as knee highs but don’t cover the foot. These are usually made out of thicker materials like wool or acrylic. American Apparel and lululemon are a great place to find these!
If you want your foot covered or not, either one of these trends can work for you. Knee high socks or leg warmers can be a staple accessory in your fall/winter wardrobe to stay warm and stylish.
Spotted: Not only are knee high socks for Fashionistas but for Fashionistos as well; N.Hoolywood showcased knee-high socks in the fall 2011 menswear collection.
