Accessories Report

When you pick out what to wear for the day, do you pick out the same color for both your top and bottom? I hope not, since the monotone look is, well… kinda boring.

Well, what about your jewelry? Do you wear all gold or all silver? Is wearing a whole set frowned upon, or would you rather just mix and match?

I found a Fashionista who rocked the matching jewelry, which ended up making her outfit even more fabulous!  Her clothes consist of dark wash jeans, a black tank top and a dark blue leather jacket. All of these items have a darker tone to them, which then allows the jewelry to sparkle even more.

Her necklace and earrings are part of a set, that, when worn together, lets the pattern of these be the point of focus. Her outfit, (in terms of clothing) is simple and without any crazy patterns, therefore the pattern on her necklace and earrings pop.

To add to the fact that the pattern of the jewelry is what adds the little “something different” to her outfit, all the other jewelry she wears is the same tone and helps create a consistent pattern of color that ends up putting her outfit together.  Her bracelets and rings, both silver, accentuate the silver found in her necklace and earrings and again allows these to stand out within the clothing.

In essence, this Fashionista really understands the power of jewelry and that matching entirely may not be such a boring thing at all!
