Accessories Report

Being a shopaholic on a college student budget is one of the hardest things I have had to control since being out on my own. I’ve had to learn necessary skills such as money management and determining items that you can splurge or save on. After my first few months of walking around campus in uncomfortable shoes, I realized that my splurge items are definitely a good pair of shoes, or pairs of shoes in my case. When looking to splurge on a unique, dependable pair of shoes I always look to a pair of Jeffrey Campbell. They are not only some of the coolest shoes out there but they are also sold in a variety of different stores. When looking to invest in a pair of JC shoes the smartest and best choice would be his Lita bootie. It is his most popular shoe that is almost guaranteed to never go out of style. The Lita is as classic to Jeffrey Campbell as the Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress is to Givenchy. They are edgy yet surprisingly comfortable and a must-have for any Fashionista’s closet.

Meeting a Fashionista with a love for Litas is a treat and a breath of fresh air to see someone who truly appreciates a Jeffrey Campbell classic. The shoe was the perfect touch to make her outfit truly one of a kind. She paired her Litas with black tights and a velvet dress that really glammed up her outfit. Over her dress she had on a really awesome kimono, which is also a great investment piece for the springtime. This Fashionista and I not only share a love for Litas but we also ironically had on the same round, moonies sunglasses, so I am obviously a big fan of those as well. Last, but certainly not least, she wore a pendant necklace and vintage rings to complete her cool outfit.

Spotted: Marc Jacobs proving in his spring 2014 ready-to-wear show that his (and my) love for round sunglasses will still be a great trend this season.
