They say that the eclectic mix of the east and the west has been carried out for generations. The amazing fact about this amalgamation is that it never gets too old or repetitive. The predominance of multicultural prints in today’s fashion takes us around the globe in a jiffy.
While the mysteries of the east and west get unfolded, today’s Fashionista emerges to take us to that world of brightness, where she chooses to opt for warm tones of the season. She makes a strong fashion statement with her ethnic print cotton blouse, Jimmy Choo sling bag and studded platform flip flops. The look not only conjures images of the eastern warmth and western labels but there is so much going on; a lot of inspiration which adds a brand new word in the dictionary of fashion.
What truly caught my eye was her fetish for junk jewelry. The magnificent Indian blue crystal on the metal engraved ring brought in a glamour quotient while the tribal print on the star shaped earrings sparked the appearance. It is a bold and perfectly curated choice for all. Also, giving bangles a ‘bang on’ statement is this sequinned mesh bracelet.
A good observation made this month was that after a lot of grays, blues, beiges and blacks were worn by Fashionistas around the world, we are finally welcoming the October heat in some print styles! Let’s go get it!
Spotted: While catching up with the heat in the Milan Fashion Week fiasco last week, the Just Cavalli collection took inspiration from Bhutan, while bringing together bold colors, prints and a touch of the east!
