Midterms are upon us and this means that most of us don’t spend as much time getting ready in the morning as usual. As a result, one of the things we may be forced to sacrifice is our hair. Whether it’s simply that you don’t have time to wash your hair or just that you woke up with total bed head, a headband can be your life saver. Because they are so convenient, headbands are a must-have college accessory.
I love this Fashionista’s choice of headband because it really adds to the hipster feel of her outfit. Her look is simple, but her headband adds a fun touch. Throwing on a printed or bejeweled headband is a great way to spice up a plain outfit. This floral head wrap from Nordstrom is a great option for spring. I am also in love with this ‘Crest of Stones’ head wrap and this ‘Happily Ever After’ head wrap. The best part about the latter one? It can double as a necklace!
Flower crowns are a great type of headband to consider with Dillo Day, Lollapalooza and other music festivals looming in the near future. They are also heavily trending this spring. If you want to be subtle, try a thin band with smaller flowers on it. Don’t be afraid to go all out though. If you choose a crown with big flowers, you can keep the rest of your outfit simple. This Forever 21 flower crown would look great with a white tank top, jean shorts and white converse.
