With the budding season of spring already here and the sun nearly on our side, it is almost impossible not to breathe a sigh of relief. As the seemingly unrelenting winter stretched its stay for longer than it should, everyone held their breath until the very last second. In the spirits of warding the winter away for good the best method is to wear color. Yes, color. Color is a sign that, not only are the flowers starting to bloom, but so are our wardrobes.
This week’s Fashionista was spotted wearing an oversized green satchel which caught my attention from miles away. The vibrant color of the green served almost as a great guide for the still bare trees that are currently transitioning back into their vibrant shades. Not only did the satchel have the perfect hue and vibrancy, the size was perfect as well. It is big enough to fit the everyday necessities and also perfect for travel. This Fashionista’s other noteworthy pieces include her oxfords, which go perfectly with her casual daytime out. I often find that oxfords have a very unique relationship with a wide range of outfits as they seem to fit almost any occasion. And lastly, her leather jacket gives her a flare and edge which I absolutely love.
With that being said, I am very excited to try out the colorful trends that are expected for this spring. It is almost like when we were little and had a box full of crayons with a blank sheet. With so many colors available to us, we can personalize and style as we choose. With this Fashionista as inspiration, let’s get creative and add that splash of color into our wardrobes.
