ACCESSORIES REPORT: Going For The Gold

Accessories Report

It’s that time of year that everyone looks forward to: the 2014 Winter Olympics. Every Olympian has the common goal to strive for the gold. They want to embrace the gold and hang it around their necks for the whole world to see. One gold medal and you are considered highly decorative. In the same respects, this Fashionista is embracing her gold.

This Fashionista sports a casual yet chic look that you can wear anywhere. She layers a chambray shirt with a striped long sleeve shirt and paired it with dark denim. This is one of my favorite looks this season: layering. I love it when I see Fashionistas/os layering any collared shirt underneath a printed top. Not only does it make the outfit come to life, but it’s also amazing to wear in cooler weather. Aside from her layered look, this Fashionista wears touches of gold to bring out her inner Olympian.

Multiple gold rings, a gold watch and gold pointed shoes really pulled the look together. I loved how the Fashionista’s rings were all different shapes but looked so uniform at the same time. Adding a gold watch accentuated the overall effect, drawing in your attention. The gold point on her flats just topped it off, so she was covered in gold head to toe. This Fashionista definitely deserves the gold and wears it proud. I encourage all of you to “highly decorate” yourself in gold, to show everyone that you are a winner. Wear that gold loud and proud. Remember, always strive for the gold, or silver—whatever suites you best!

Spotted: Betsey Johnson’s fall 2014 collection did not disappoint with the gold. Every model was accessorized from head to toe with gold jewelry.
