The desire to venture outside during the winter diminishes with each passing snow shower and each sub zero day. It’s easier to stay inside, sit in front of the fireplace and explore the vast collection of board games that has accumulated on your basement shelf since you were a little girl. Let me tell you the easier option isn’t always the most rewarding. This winter I ask you to get outdoors, but not without your furriest accessories to keep you warm.
This Fashionista keeps her fur accessories close in the winter months. Her Saks Fifth Avenue fur infinity scarf and faux cheetah Tory Burch bag are just two of many furry accessories in her closet. The scarf is multipurpose, doubling as a hood, perfect for snowy days and nights. If you really want to explore the possibilities of fur this season you could try this Canada Goose parka. You can furrow your face in the fur-lined hood while you skate at your local outdoor ice-skating rink (sounds cozy right?). Or you could go full force fur and sport a fur jacket like this one by Elizabeth and James. Personally I love subtle accessories; they add the right touch of warmth and luxury to my outfits. I am yearning for these rabbit earmuffs by Surell, my ears are feeling really neglected this winter.
Don’t stay inside. Go out and enjoy the hot chocolate, ice-skating and snow, but don’t forget your freeze fighting fur.
Spotted: Fur was spotted on Alexandre Vauthier‘s fall 2013 couture collection runway.
