I couldn’t help but pay a tribute to one last autumn inspired look before going full force into the holiday season. Although this photo has fall written all over it I bring you advice that will pertain to all seasons.
Accessorized nicely, this Fashionista wears a fabulous two-toned jacket and suede booties while carrying a fabulous Pendleton bag. Take notice that individually each piece could be worn in almost any season. Here, she pieces them together to give her a natural toned, fall color palate. By adding a pop of orange color around her neck with everyone’s favorite chunky knit scarf she makes her outfit relevant to the fall season. I often discuss color in my reports because it can make such a dramatic change to your ensemble. Add a bright red, sparkly holiday scarf and she could be ready for December!
It’s much easier to customize your outfit each day then you might think. Large accessory pieces, such as scarves can be made into loud statements that completely change the look you are presenting. It seems we are so quick to bypass accessories and head straight for the more popular outfit pieces. Paying closer attention to the statement accessories you already have or choosing to buy little add-ons instead could save you quite a bit. Not only am I bringing you seasonal accessory advice but a wallet-friendly tip!
Accessories hold a ton of power if you allow them to steal the show, or in some cases they may even add simplicity. As we change seasons and move into the holiday season evaluate your accessories! This season, instead of packing away your favorite fall looks just try accessorizing them differently with pops of color.
Spotted: You’ll always see Miu Miu using pops of color to change or dramatize a look. In the 2010 pre-fall collection they use handbags to brighten up holiday winter wear.
