On rare occasions, I’ll wake up very far on the wrong side of the bed, roll out from under my fluffy covers and look shockingly in the mirror at the rat’s nest atop my head. That’s when I put up my white flag of surrender and declare it a hat day.
But, choosing which hat is always the true dilemma. The right or wrong hat can either add a lot or put off an outfit. During summer, one may pick between the trendy snapback, the classic baseball cap or a cute fedora. But wintertime is a bigger ballpark. Winter hats have two functions: utility and appeal, and there is quite a smorgasbord of styles one may choose from. There’s the skullcap, the slouchy beanie, earmuffs and more. I’ve always been a colorful beanie girl myself, but this Fashionista’s furry trapper hat has changed the game.
Our Fashionista rocks the incredible Hat Attack Fur Trapper hat in gray. It’s fluffiness seems endless and has the right touch of lavishness. With the Sochi Olympics just ending, we can’t get over anything Russian, and this cap can make any girl feel like a tsar.
Paired with her Theory anorak, this hat is the perfect wintery headpiece. The contrast between the woodsy shape and its luxury feel encompasses the right amount of complicatedness to add depth to any jeans and sweater ensemble. To top off the look, Hunter Boots keep the feet dry and warm. Hunter Boots also go with every pair of jeans; this makes them an essential item in the closet. If you find yourself on a bad hair day – or even if you don’t – put a hat on it!
