Necklaces, bracelets and rings have always been my go-to accessories to pile on when I need to add a little sass to any outfit of mine. I’ve honestly never been a big earring person. Gone are the days when tiny, diamond studs were everyone’s favorite accessory. So, when I saw this Fashionista wearing some gorgeous bright gem earrings I thought about giving the trend a try.
I caught her on her way to class and had to get her attention because I noticed her fabulous bright earrings. Pink, teal and green — they really would match a variety of different garments as well as coordinate with just about any outfit for any occasion. When I think of earrings like this particular pair I always picture them being paired with a chic gown or dress for some fancy event, but this Fashionista brought the earrings to a different level for me. She paired them with a pretty casual outfit: jeans, flats, a black top and a simple maroon jacket. Although the jacket gives the outfit a fancier look, her outfit is still incredibly casual. But what I realized about this ensemble was that without the earrings, it would have a totally different look.
These earrings did a perfect job adding just the right amount of class to her outfit. As I got inspired to look for some dangling earrings, my search brought me to Charlotte Russe — one of my favorite jewelry destinations. There are so many different types of earrings from the simplest of earrings to something a little more decorative to something really intricate and interesting. Charlotte Russe had some amazing choices at a perfect price for us college students.
