Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé and Kourtney Kardashian. What do these three very different people have in common? They have all rocked the military/combat boot in some form during 2014. Why does that matter, you may ask? Well, it goes to show that the military boot is in full force this winter. Whether it is the ever so popular Dr. Martens boot, a heeled combat boot or an edgy studded military boot. We have seen them everywhere this season and I’m sure that they’ve been seen on your campus. I don’t know about you, but I’m loving it! What is not to love about style that looks effortless and includes the commodity of comfort?
When I came across this Fashionista on campus, I couldn’t help but to ask if I could take some photos. Her gold studded black military boots completely caught my eye and I was obsessed. As a matter of fact, I still am. The round studs on the side are totally unique, but when I saw the zip down detail that revealed a different layer of square studs, I was thrown for a loop. I was amazed at how one accessory could transform her mostly simple look into a more complex and edgy one. Isn’t that what we all want? A quick and extremely easy way to make an outfit modern, stylish and edgy? I know I’m in.
In addition to her crazy cool combat boots, this Fashionista is rocking a simple pair of black leggings. She’s also wearing a light spring jacket adding to the military theme. She accessorized with a brown and cream striped scarf and a simple black cross-body purse with gold details to complement her boots.
Searching for an easy and comfortable means of which to present yourself in an even more stylish, edgy and put together manner? While running from class, to work and even to yoga, you’ve found your solution. Military boots, no matter the countless styles, will make all of that happen. That’s pretty easy right? So, follow this Fashionista in strutting an outstanding accessory.
