The camo trend has made a huge comeback this season. As most people know, the camouflage print was extremely popular throughout the late ’90s and early 2000s. As they say, fashion always repeats itself, and this time the camo and military trend is bigger than ever! From all of the hot prints, colors and textures that are out today, I’d have to say camouflage is one of my personal favorites and gives any outfit an edgier look.
This week’s Fashionisto LeRoy Randolph not only showed off his hot army jacket but gave the print a whole different look. LeRoy is a full-time Fashion Studies student at Montclair State University and has a very unique style of his own. This Fashionisto is pulling off a red and blue striped turtleneck layered with the camouflage army jacket, blue skinny jeans and printed tribal socks with vintage loafers. It’s safe to say that LeRoy is very daring with his unique sense of style as he is mixing three different patterns and is still looking great. He is extremely confident in style and clothing and that’s what makes him so original.
Not only do these jackets look great on guys, but they also look awesome on girls. There are many different ways that girls can pull off this military look. Since studs and spikes have become a huge accessory for clothing this season, combine them with your jacket. You can purchase a studded camo jacket at stores such as Topshop. However, if you are on budget you can save a lot of money by purchasing the studs or spikes separately on eBay and then adding them on to your jacket. Not only is it way cheaper than buying an original studded camo jacket, but it is actually very fun to do and you can put as little or as many studs as you’d like. If you’re not into the whole studded and spiked trend, there are many stores such as Necessary Clothing and ASOS that offer a wide variety of original camouflaged jackets and clothing. When it comes to this print, take a chance and don’t be afraid to try out different looks; mix it up with different trends and you will find an edgier side to yourself!
