Many students are taking initiative this summer and getting their foot in the doors of potential companies they would love to work for by gaining experience through internships in the city. It’s such a great way to get a taste of what it’s like to work in a specific workplace—seeing first-hand what the atmosphere is like, what type of skills are required and even what to wear. You always want to look your best when stepping through those dream doors.
For guys, it can sometimes be a challenge to find a way to make yourself stand out in a sea of business casual attire when you’re dressing for a job. That’s where accessories come in and are a great way to make the outfit more unique.
I spotted this Fashionisto out in the city on a sunny day in an ensemble that would be great for a day in the office. However, when you get off from a long day at work, guys I’m sure you just want to loosen up your ties and lose the blazers. This Fashionisto rocked a sharp button-down shirt, a pair of black trousers and a vintage suit jacket. His accessories really add to the overall look. From his suspenders and boxy case to his classic dress shoes, his outfit is very put together. His striped bowtie is fun and since it’s undone, it’s more relaxed and has a laid back feel.
He creates a traditional outfit but adds a bit of his personality, which is perfect for making a lasting impression.
Spotted: Suspenders were on the runway in Stella Jean Homme men’s ready-to-wear spring 2014 collection.
