ACCESSORIES REPORT: Booties Are Here To Stay

Accessories Report

Booties the new fashion term coined over the past season for short boots or ankle height boots. These booties are all the rage this winter season! In fact, I started off this winter season with zero pairs of booties and now I have myself three pairs. How can you not love the versatile, classy look of booties?!

I spotted this Fashionista because of her amazing tan leather Jeffrey Campbell booties. The tan leather looked great paired with her black winter jacket and scarf. These booties have about a four inch heel. According to this Fashionista, these booties are very comfortable and easy to walk in. Great news for those who struggle to wear heals all day.

Booties can be worn in so many different ways. They can be worn with cropped pants, rolled-up jeans, skinny jeans or even a dress. This Fashionista wore ripped, distressed jeans rolled up to ankle length. It is a great fashionable and trendy look spotted everywhere. I have even seen Fashionistas wearing pants with socks that come above the boot length for some extra flair to their outfit.

This Fashionista paired her wonderful booties with a large black knit scarf. Scarves are a great piece to any and every winter look because they can add another dimension to a look, while keeping you warmer. The one thing besides shoes and bags a Fashionista can never have enough of are scarves.

As for the jewelry, sometimes simplicity is key. This Fashionista added some dazzling diamond earrings as her jewelry. Diamonds (real or fake) need to be a part of any jewelry collection. In fact, multiple pairs consisting of different shapes and sizes are must-haves!

As the winter starts to end, there are multiple options for new bootie styles in the spring. Some new spring trends are peep-toe and lace-up booties.

Spotted: Alexis Mabille 2014 pre-fall collection includes booties with an array of different styles.
