Accessories Report

You know that awkward weather where it’s chilly in the morning, super sunny and warm during the day and ridiculously cold at night? This my friends is what I like to call WTH weather or “what the heck do I wear?” weather. If you wear a jacket to your 9 a.m. class you may be sweating by the time lunch comes around. As Fashionistas, we must conquer this confusing time of year and seek outfits that are appropriate for Ithaca in September!

This week’s Fashionista is doing it right with her cream colored blazer. Blazers are perfect for this clumsy weather because you can layer them and simply take them off when it gets warm yet still feel cosy in the super air-conditioned lecture halls.  Every Fashionista needs at least two blazers in her wardrobe, a neutral colored one and a bright colored one. Another great thing about blazers is that they are perfect for going from day to night. If this Fashionista swaps her flats for heels, her outfit would instantly go from class to a girl’s night out in downtown Ithaca.

I love this Fashionistas outfit specifically because she’s being fashionable and rebellious with wearing white after Labor Day. She also styles her blazer with jeans which helps keep her outfit casual and classy. She accessories with a bulky beige necklace and beige Micheal Kors ballet flats. Her style is adorable yet comfortable which is what you want to go for when walking around Cornell’s hilly campus.

Blazers are a really good investment because they’ll never go out of style so go out and be smart shoppers!
